We created fox & mae after working along side each other for over 14 years; our goal was to bring our experience as stylists, hair stylists, makeup artists and our friendship into a business that brings our down-to-earth attitude to anyone wanting a fresh and new approach to style. A one-stop shop for anything you need in the style and makeup industry.
As professional makeup artists we specialise in Wedding, Special Occasion, Editorial, Film and Commercial makeup. With our styling skills we offer services for individuals and businesses. We have been lucky enough to work with some fabulous designers and brands: From creating Pop Up stores for ASB, retail displays for Westfield and Nike and helped Corporates like Reinz, Barfoots and MIT feel confident with their personal style and look their best. To makeup work with Dry & Tea, Bridal Beauty our greatest joy is bringing our knowledge and know-how to getting our clients looking fabulous and feeling amazing.

process of discovery, and brings an impressive level of detail to the finished result.
With a background that covers makeup & wardrobe for TV and film, years of experience
working with personal styling clients that can see her shopping one day to doing gorgeous makeups the next Jody also brings her know-how to creating events and retail displays that grab people’s attention.
Whether it’s working for a global brand or one-on-one with clients Jody believes it comes down to the simple fact of listening to what people want and nailing the brief where she particularly loves the moment she shares with clients when it all comes together.

Christie has always had a huge passion for anything fashion and beauty related! Well established with over 15 years in the makeup and fashion industries she has been lucky enough to work for some of New Zealand’s best-known designers and several top makeup brands. A professionally trained makeup artist and stylist she has worked to build a successful freelance business with her partner in crime (Jody!) This has enabled Christie to cover all her clients needs, from bridal hair & makeup during wedding season to wardrobe sorting and shopping as the season changes. Christie’s professionalism and calm nature will shine through every experience, she excels in getting things organised and will always go the extra distance to get things just right for every client.

Complimentary
$115 / hour. Anticipate a period of 2-3 hours for a wardrobe consultation. Travel charges may apply.
$130 / hour. We include a 1-hour pre-shop charged for. Follow up notes can be provided for all shopping services at $30.00.
$120 / hour. Anticipate a period of 45 minutes to 1 hour for a styling consultation. Travel charges may apply.
